User Guide
Asset Characteristics
Volo Vaults are specialized DeFi products on the Sui blockchain, where each vault is tied to a specific asset and employs diverse strategies like DEX liquidity pools or lending protocols to generate yields.
More specifically:
xBTC vaults require only xBTC deposits
wBTC vaults require only wBTC deposits
Stablecoin vaults accept either USDC or USDT, or both.
Each Vault has a minimal deposit amount:
xBTC and wBTC : Minimum 0.00001
Stablecoins: Minimum $1
Entry Fee
Users pay a fixed percentage entry fee upon depositing assets. Note the fee is NOT revenue for Volo but fee charged by underlying protocols when entering yield farming position on underlying protocols. E.g. the 0.01%/0.001% fee for Volo Momentum Stablecoin Vaults are charged by Momentum to convert part of the user deposit to enter USDT/USDC LP position.
Auto Compounding
The vaults automatically compound earnings, boosting the principal balance daily for hands-off growth. So yield is compounded to user position in the form of the vault's native token.
Example: Bob deposited 10 xBTC to Volo xBTC Vault, which accrues 10% constant APR over a year. At the end of the year, Bob's position in the vault becomes 11 xBTC.
Rewards and Withdrawal Cooldown
Withdrawals involve an unstaking period of up to 24 hours, with assets returned to wallets automatically at 8:00 PM UTC each day.
